Faculty

The faculty who teach, advise, and mentor biology students come mainly from KU's two biology departments of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology and Molecular Biosciences, as well as from the Undergraduate Biology Program.

One major benefit of being a KU biology student is that not only are our faculty excellent educators but they also are engaged and active in their respective fields.  We encourage you to peruse web sites of faculty in both the Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology and the Department of Molecular Biosciences to learn about their cutting-edge research programs.

Below are teaching faculty associated with Undergraduate Biology who contribute to the fundamental freshman Biology courses.
