Invitation to St. Jude National Undergraduate Research Symposium

Greetings!

On behalf of the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, I invite you to apply for the

St. Jude National Undergraduate
Research Symposium

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
June 12-15, 2019

This competitive academic and professional development event allows undergraduate students from U.S. institutions to present their own work in addition to learning about the cutting-edge research and facilities at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Symposium goals:

  • Feature research from top young scientists
  • Showcase St. Jude as a premier research institution
  • Promote recruitment of top undergraduate and postbac students for the St. Jude Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.

Participants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and currently juniors, seniors planning a gap year, or postbac students interested in attending graduate school, but have not have committed elsewhere. Symposium-related expenses (airfare, transfers, lodging, meals, planned activities) for selected students will be covered by the Graduate School.

Included in your electronic application will be your CV, abstract, headshot, unofficial transcript, and research advisor statement of support. Your application must be submitted by Monday, April 15, 2019. Selected students will be notified of their acceptance at the end of April.
